Modernize Home Services is the leader in performance marketing for thousands of home improvement professionals in the United States. As the home improvement industry continues to evolve and as contractors increasingly expand operations and focus more on finding and servicing homeowner projects at scale Modernize will continue to adapt its solutions to help contractors better connect with homeowners. The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive product marketing strategy that aligns with Modernize's objectives and market needs. This role involves leading and mentoring the product marketing team to innovate and perform while managing marketing initiatives to deliver high-quality results on schedule. The Product Marketing Specialist will ensure that Modernize's products are competitively positioned in the market and will work closely with various stakeholders to drive product adoption and business growth.

Responsibilities

Product Marketing Strategy and Management:

  • Owning the product marketing lifecycle

  • Developing and executing market strategies for new B2B marketing products including market research competitive analysis positioning & messaging and launching campaigns.

  • Crafting compelling content across various formats including one pagers pillar reports emails company newsletter and customer stories with a focus on video

  • Develop sales and marketing enablement materials ensuring the Modernize voice is consistent

  • Championing product adoption with US based home improvement businesses.

  • Leveraging marketing analytics and customer data to understand market trends.

  • Identifying buyer pain points and informing product marketing strategies.

  • Collaborating with the broader marketing team.

  • Ensuring a consistent and impactful message resonates in all outreach.

  • Work closely with product sales and engineering teams to ensure successful product launches.

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product marketing success.

  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback (NPS) and incorporate it into product marketing development.

  • Evangelize Modernize’s offerings ensuring internal stakeholders are aligned with the product marketing roadmap.

  • Manage partnership enablement and ensure they have the assets they need

Requirements

  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with clients and other stakeholders to understand their needs and goals.

  • You have executed 360 marketing campaigns across channels

  • You can demonstrate the ability to think strategically formulate market development plans and align them with overall business objectives.

  • You have experience in conducting thorough market research including segmentation competitive analysis and trend identification.

  • You must be a self-starter. This is a new role for our organization where structure will need to be developed and thought leadership is necessary.

  • You have a solid understanding of digital marketing and how it impacts buying decisions.

  • You have experience growing a new startup or product

  • You understand how to work with design teams and a familiarity with design tools

  • You have a record of accomplishment in achieving and exceeding goals with a focus on measurable outcomes and key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • You have familiarity with marketing automation tools and building email automation campaigns

  • You like to dabble in innovative technologies like AI

The expected salary range for this position is $80000 USD to $100000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave parental leave paid time off or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
