As the Product Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring venues and vendors and people planning events all over the world understand the value of the PartySlate product. You will become a product and event industry expert, which will fuel your ownership of the positioning and messaging of the PartySlate product and its features. As the liaison between marketing and product, you will lead and execute on a go-to-market strategy for key launches and lead highly-impactful programs to drive product adoption. As a key partner to the sales team, you will also analyze market insights and develop programs to attract and retain our clients.Â
Responsibilities:
- Craft the messaging and strategic narratives for the PartySlate product, including value propositions, positioning, and supporting communications
- Become an expert on the PartySlate product, understanding the nuances, functionality, and value of each feature for venues and vendors
- Develop an evergreen product marketing strategy to ensure consistent engagement with old and new product features for both event companies and consumers
- Create and own go-to-market strategy for new product launches, including cross-channel marketing campaigns and ROI analysis
- Generate engaging, high-performing campaigns that drive awareness and product engagement, in partnership with email, product, and sales leaders
- Create and own sales and customer success enablement materials, including case studies, data analysis, and storytelling, helping teams speak to the PartySlate product in an effective and clear manner
- Take a data-driven approach to identifying key success metrics and communicate findings to marketing, product, and leadership team members
- Partner with product on event industry and consumer research interviews to broaden knowledge of the industry
- Partner with event and community teams on product marketing integrations at in-person events and community activities
- Partner with VP of Marketing on other high-impact initiatives, including pricing and packaging, scripting, and more
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, or similar field
- Experience at a marketplace or tech company a plus
- Demonstrated ownership of positioning and launching differentiated productsÂ
- Proficient in HubSpot or related CRM
- Data-oriented approach to problem solving
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent prioritization and project management skills
- Team player with inspiring approach to collaboration
