The Product Marketing Specialist will support the strategy for product launches, operational announcements, and ongoing product initiatives. The Specialist will become an expert in all things Carnival product and be the point person for the Marketing organization for select product initiatives. The role will predominantly work with internal Creative Services and brief the team on key product milestones that require creative development and support across key marketing disciplines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Carnival product, including new ships, venues, experiences, and destinations.
  • Identify key milestones and initiatives that require product marketing support that would resonate with our consumer targets.
  • Become the connective tissue between the operational teams and the marketing organization by providing all relevant product information, including during weekly statuses with each channel.
  • Develop relationships and work closely with relevant internal operations teams to support a road map of all upcoming product initiatives, ensuring that they roll into the Carnival brand's positioning pillars.
  • Responsible for learnings and collecting all the new product information to be translated into a communication framework. This communication framework will include a message brief, that will inform the marketing teams of the go to market plan for all product launches, announcements, and milestones.
  • Specialist will also be responsible for the collection of all assets that the individual teams will adapt for their channels.
  • Specialist will align with each channel to identify how they will support this announcement; confirm they have all assets they need and track creative development from briefing stages to launch, ensuring there is a consistent message and visual.
  • Support the development of the exclusive destination portfolio that Carnival ships sail to. As well as support the on-going integrated announcements surrounding Celebration Key, and Half Moon Cay.
  • Support regional product plans as ships change ports and enter new markets.
  • Assess the competition in that market and assist in developing the brief for internal teams to develop an integrated plan that introduces the new ship offering to the target audience.
  • Support creative development of assets that will be adapted across all channels.
  • Ensure all creative ladders back up to the overall brand strategy and is consistent with the messaging and visuals being leveraged across paid media.
  • Working with the team on any evolutions to the customer experience onboard our fleet, as we look towards the future.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree, required
  • 3+ years - Brand or product management, required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong understanding of digital applications/platforms (examples: mobile, web, tablet and social)
  • Knowledge of current and future trends in digital marketing and communications platforms and applications
  • Understanding the process in developing effective advertising campaigns
  • Knowledge of media and creative analytics and experience with analyzing performance
  • Astute attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team player attitude
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver under pressure in a high-visibility role

The range for this role's base salary is $51,600 - $75,300. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
