Job Description

We are seeking a Product Operational Risk Management Specialist to join our team and lead operational risk initiatives on behalf of our reputable financial services industry client. This role is responsible for developing and executing a robust risk management program to support digital payment products.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the implementation of operational risk management processes, including:

• Complaint investigation
• Refreshing Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and managing alerts
• Supporting audit requests (both internal and external)
• Managing issue resolution and event closure
• Driving documentation and sharing best practices across product portfolios

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Product Enablement, Production Support, and Control Management governance teams.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve control measures and mitigate operational risks.
• Ensure alignment between the risk management program and the client’s digital payment product scaling strategy.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in product operational risk management or related fields.
• Strong project management skills with an ability to prioritize, communicate effectively, and ensure timely execution.
• Experience working with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues at scale.
• Strong ability to analyze data to inform decision-making processes.
• Stakeholder management experience, including negotiating and building strong relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Additional Information

**The starting pay range for this role is $30- $37.00 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
