Product Operations Intern - Affiliate Marketing

About the Role:

As a Product Operations Intern, you will aid in the coordination, organization, and overall improvement of Sezzle’s affiliate marketing program, a top revenue driver for the company. You will work across the Product, Corporate Strategy, Sales, and Marketing teams to coordinate Sezzle’s affiliate relationships and align them to Sezzle’s strategic vision. This role works cross functionally between product management, corporate strategy, and sales.

We are looking for a data-oriented individual as this role will require running & analyzing reports as well as running SQL queries. Key Role Responsibilities:

●  Cultivate new and maintain existing affiliate relationships with high profile brands while representing Sezzle’s brand as the program’s key contact.

●  Manage and respond to external stakeholder inquiries.

●  Improve, manage, and document the process for onboarding and maintaining affiliate

partners to Sezzle’s platform.

●  Host weekly review sessions to present program performance and communicate relevant information to company-wide internal stakeholders.

●  Explore and propose new revenue opportunities related to affiliate marketing or new product development.

●  Strategize profitable growth opportunities and evaluate profitability of every aspect of the affiliate program.

●  Gathering feedback and presenting insights that can drive key business decisions and deliver.

●  Managing Sezzle store directory priority of brands, setting up deals & offers, and helping oversee proper monetization of Sezzle’s app.

Minimum Requirements:

●  Sezzle internships are up to 30 hours a week. We want you to have an amazing internship experience and learn new things, but also enjoy student life!

●  Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of coursework completed.

●  GPA of 3.6 or higher

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

●  Data and analytics background preferred.

●  Proficient in SQL.

●  Experienced with Excel and able to interpret large sets of data.
