Product Operations Manager

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Product Operations Manager to work directly with product management and engineering teams to consistently deliver the right features to customers. You’ll be responsible for working directly with the engineering team to translate customer and business outcomes into deliverable scope and accountable for execution and delivery. You’ll also be responsible for building strong connections with customer-facing teams (technical support, customer success, account management, etc), ensuring a tight product feedback loop, and coordinating smooth, high-quality feature launches. This is a highly cross-functional individual contributor role.

What You’ll Do

• Manage execution and technical delivery for a quantitative product team.
• Lead daily stand-ups and help the team remove blockers. Partner with product engineers and quantitative developers to keep their backlog prioritized to align with the strategic roadmap, customer support priorities and team goals and ensure work is completed on time and according to specifications.
• Collaborate with Product Strategy and Architecture teams to ensure work is defined and prepared for the engineering teams.
• Understand your engineering team’s capacity vs. demand to forecast when product features can be delivered.
• Keep our teams and customers informed on what’s happening in product development, including roadmaps, progress, risks and issues.
• Drive top priority user feature rollouts in partnership with customer success, technical 
  support, product marketing, account management, and others.
• Develop novel processes & tools and collaborate with other thought leaders to improve how we deliver product features.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a  B2B product manager, delivery manager or scrum master or a track record of leading and proactively managing end-to-end execution of projects/programs.
• Demonstrated experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in an Agile development context.
• An understanding of the product development lifecycle from product discovery, creation, launch, and iteration.
• Hands-on experience with Jira.
• University degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate succinctly and adjust communication style based on audience.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and can develop a deep understanding of a complex product and its use cases
• Ability to understand a situation, identify and root cause problems, generate and weigh solutions, and identify potential risks.
• Experience leading through influence instead of authority; ability to communicate and empathize with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to motivate and help engineers understand the vision and the "why" behind what they're building
• Experience working with data to identify trends, generate insights, and solve problem
