1WorldSync is the industry leader in product content management. With approximately 700 employees across the US, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK, we're seeking aProduct Owner to support our growing global team.

Reporting directly to ourDirector of Technology Planning & Delivery, the Product Ownerwill act as the vital link between the Content Solutions customer community (both internal and external) and our Content Solutions software delivery team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for crafting software and program solutions, orchestrating project coordination, capturing precise business requirements, developing use cases, creating functional specifications, documenting user guides, extending unwavering support to our engineering and testing teams, and ensuring seamless delivery and ongoing support. As a core member of our team, you will be expected to possess a profound understanding of the products or product areas under your purview, encompassing all facets of the Content Solutions ecosystem.

As a Product Owner at 1WorldSync, responsibilities include the following:

• Manage a product backlog and release schedule for assigned solutions by working with customers (internal and external).
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, site visits, business process analysis and use cases.
• Assist in translating Business Requirements into functional specifications, training programs and process documentation.
• Review release requirements as a subject matter expert to ensure functionality is correct and aligns with short and long-term roadmap priorities.
• Collaborate with customers on how 1WorldSync products and services can be enhanced to meet their needs and create business requirements documents for new products and features.
• Liaise between Product Management and Engineering teams (architects and developers).
• Assist in the creation of project baselines, and monitor and control project scope, schedule, budget and quality, reporting project deviations.
• Work closely with technology teams to ensure core platform technologies are being deployed in a way that maximizes their usability for the customer.
• Work with product management in the launch process of new products and features to ensure the sales, marketing, implementation, and customer service teams are receiving the support they need to successfully take products in the market.
• Understand security requirements and how they relate to products.
• Participate in and follow security practices for projects including requirements and testing.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• 7-10 years of experience with software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms and the software development lifecycle

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience with eCommerce Content and PIM solutions
• Consulting experience desirable
• Strong project management and leadership skills (PMP is a plus)
• Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment
• Strong work ethic with a high degree of flexibility to manage in an ever-changing environment
• Consultative and problem-solving skills with customers and solution delivery partners
• Decisive business leader with practical business judgment
• Strategic technology vision and understanding
• Relationship builder, both with internal and external customers
• Has worked within an Agile environment with experience as a Product Owner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, customers, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
• Able to synthesize many inputs into a solution strategy and write corresponding business requirements
• Understanding of technical environment (Product Data Management, Database Management Technologies, JSON/XML, modern APIs) for internet based commercial applications a plus
• Understanding of the GS1 system of standards and how they can be leveraged to solve business problems

Additional Details:

• This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days per week at our Chicago headquarters location.
• This role requires the candidate to have the authority to work in, and be located in the US.

• This position requires up to 25% travel.
