Job Summary:

Reporting to the Product Line Manager, the Product Owner will support Availity with our Eligibility offering. You will assist in leading implementations, eligibility hosting, adding intelligence to eligibility pipeline and payer/provider integrations.

Role qualifications:• You are a relationship builder with a minimum of 3 years in a Product role• Writing detailed technical documents, specifically business requirements, is something you enjoy doing• You are able to seamlessly shift gears, having prior experience working in an agile development environment• You have healthcare knowledge, specifically around ANSI• You easily adapt to change• You have a background supporting Payers and know eligibility and claims• You are comfortable supporting multiple, concurrent projects

What you will be doing:• 40% of this role is acting as a team liaison; you will be monitoring the work of the team, making sure they have work to do and moving the process forward• 20% of this role is customer facing, so you will be interacting with customers, refining, validating and aligning requirements• 20% of this role is participating in agile ceremonies and grooming the backlog• 20% of this role is conducting research; you will be gathering requirements and writing detailed user stories as well as interpreting and writing queries against a database
