Product Owner

Our Product team is hyper-focused on creating products that solve real-world problems in the crowdsourced delivery space. We are looking for a Product Owner to develop and execute on a product roadmap with a focus on people and pay in the Roadie system. Primary areas will be around user management of our Drivers & Senders (authentication & representation), fraud prevention, Driver & Sender payments, and legal & regulatory requests.  In this role, you’ll partner with our other product teams (i.e. Driver, Sender, Internal) to help ensure they have what they need around people & pay.  

What You’ll Be Doing

• Working closely with the Product Lead of Internal Operations to identify goals, direction, and execution
• Communicating regularly with internal stakeholders (Legal, Trust & Safety, Accounting, etc.) to understand their goals and help them identify root problems
• Working with third party vendors on integrations into the Roadie system
• Synthesizing insights into a strong product direction and immerse yourself within the agile development team to execute your vision
• Scoping, planning and delivering an actionable product backlog, prioritize stories, and ship high-quality features weekly
• Leading projects end-to-end, partner cross-functionally to monitor user adoption, engagement, and satisfaction metrics

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in the product development life cycle
• Experience regularly shipping features and maintaining a mature product
• Experience collaborating with development, QA, and UX teams in an agile environment
• Experience with people or money management systems, preferred 
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, using data to drive decision-making
• Basic knowledge of technical concepts like API endpoints and event-streaming approaches like Kafka
• Thrive in environments where you are balancing different perspectives and competing priorities
• Radical thinking paired with strong execution. Can envision a world different than the status quo with the ability to articulate a clear path to get there
