Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team’s Lead Developer and Product Manager to create and drive goals development goal to maintain productivity and efficiency without sacrificing quality.
• Communicate progress, roadblocks, and updates to the cross-functional team and the Dubsado team as a whole.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, such as Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Retros with the Payments and Invoicing team to ensure alignment of the team’s goals
• Execute manual Quality Assurance testing for each new feature to make sure changes meet the technical and product-driven requirements
• Creating detailed testing plans to facilitate feature testing with Dubsado’s internal teams
• Identify quantitative and qualitative findings from Quality Assurance tests to the development team
• Work with members of the Customer Care team to solve reported issues with Dubsado’s invoicing, payments, and billing sub-systems.
• Owner of the Payment and Invoicing Team’s backlog, maintaining balance between competing priorities between new feature development and issue response
• Create affiliate code usage reports from the Dubsado billing data for use by the Dubsado Partnerships Team

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, QA Analyst, or Scrum Master for a SaaS company
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies and mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and team management skills
• Organized and detail oriented worker
• Experience working in a fast-paced setting with shifting priorities and timelines

As a product owner you drive the progress of the projects being built by your team and serve as a communication bridge across teams within the organization. In addition to overseeing the progress of features, Product Owners at Dubsado lead Quality Assurance testing, working hands on with the changes the team creates.

Being a part of the Payments and Invoicing team provides the opportunity to work with Dubsado’s evolving codebase as well as technologies from industry leading payment processors and bookkeeping softwares through our various integrations.
