This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Product Owner in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to lead the design and delivery of innovative pharmacy solutions, focusing on the full prescription life cycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, streamline workflows, and implement technology that improves both patient and provider experiences. The position involves working closely with clinical, operational, and technical teams to optimize processes such as patient onboarding, prior authorizations, benefits verification, dispensing, and specialty medication management. Ideal candidates will bring deep knowledge of specialty pharmacy, regulatory standards, and clinical workflows, while also driving solutions that enhance efficiency, adherence, and patient safety. You will act as the key advocate for end-to-end pharmacy processes, ensuring that technology solutions meet both business and regulatory requirements.

Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for specialty pharmacy processes and the end-to-end prescription life cycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, design workflows, and implement technology solutions
  • Optimize patient onboarding, intake, and engagement processes to improve satisfaction and adherence
  • Oversee prior authorization workflows, benefits investigation, clinical assessments, and therapy-specific procedures
  • Ensure compliance with REMS, NCPDP SCRIPT standards, medication safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with teams on dispensing workflows, including verification, labeling, fulfillment, shipping, and cold-chain management
  • Support financial assistance, copay workflows, patient education, and prescriber coordination to enhance overall patient outcomes
  • Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Pharmacy SME in specialty pharmacy or related healthcare domains
  • Deep understanding of the end-to-end prescription life cycle, including patient intake, benefits verification, prior authorization, and clinical workflows
  • Knowledge of specialty medication handling, storage, shipping logistics, and REMS program requirements
  • Familiarity with NCPDP SCRIPT standards, electronic prescribing, and pharmacy software systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders
  • Experience driving workflow optimization and translating clinical requirements into technology solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred
