POSITION SUMMARY

Product Owner delivers on the product vision and optimizes the value of the teams' work. They plan how to achieve the goals of the product, define detailed specifications and user stories, adjust product team's daily operations to reflect the Product Manager's strategy and goals. The Product Owner can successfully transition to unfamiliar business and systems domains with minimal guidance.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints.
• Effectively verifies and validates requirements; ensures that all requirements support the delivery of business value, fulfills goals and objectives, and meets a stakeholder need.
• Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
• Manage requirement traceability and changes throughout the project lifecycle Manages product backlogs, including the creation, optimization, prioritization and delivery of approved product features and roadmap milestones.
• Work with Scrum Masters & Business Managers to define project scope, budget estimate, skill-set requirements, and ROI for business initiatives.
• Effectively resolves complex problems by conducting a thorough analysis of the problems and employing appropriate strategies for resolution.
• Support system conversions, upgrades, enhancements - provides recommendations for future enhancements to drive operational excellence and represent the voice of the customer.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• Proficiency with MS Office experience (including Visio).
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• 1-3 years' experience product management.
• Ability to travel as needed (up to 10%).
• Comfortable working under ambiguity.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• ERP experience is a plus!
• Business case and KPI development and tracking.
