Job Description

This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in your local office at least 2 days a week.

Joining us as a Product Owner

You’ll act as our guardian of software products, collaborating with the entire team to ensure that all products are successfully delivered, within Agile framework.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

• Lead stakeholder engagement, from collaborative requirement gathering to regular progress updates
• Translate business objectives into innovative solutions and testable software features
• Execute the product vision and roadmap, driving quarterly planning to ensure realistic and aligned commitments
• Maintain and manage the product backlog, ensuring prioritization aligns with business needs
• Facilitate technical workshops and training sessions alongside the Scrum Master to enhance team capabilities

What you’ll bring to the role

You’ll already have some of the skills which make up a great Product owner, like working well to deadlines and thinking creatively to solve problems, but there are a few other core areas of experience you’ll bring with you too: 

• Experience in Agile product ownership
• Experience working within a software development team
• User knowledge of JIRA / Confluence / Kanban
• Experience facilitating requirement gathering through user story mapping
