Product Owner

Job Description:
Chameleon Consulting Group is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Product Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to play a crucial role in building a platform to support cyber development activities and eventual coordination and orchestration of cyber missions. This project will be focused on prototyping solutions that will be aligned with the long term vision of governments ideal architecture.  Specifically, you will:

• Participate in SAFe® Agile Software Development and Mission Deployment teams bringing new capabilities and automation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), in a SAFe® construct
• Collaborate closely with teams and stakeholders to ensure that the principles of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) drive business results
• Be accountable for end-to-end planning and implementation of complex, cross functional Cyber Platform projects.
• Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Maintain meticulous records of project, issues, risks, decisions, and schedules
• 100% onsite is required in Herndon, VA

Though primary responsibility for ensuring team delivery provides business value, you will not operate on an island.  You will have the support of a team of tech leads, the Program and Portfolio Managers, other engineers, and an engaged customer. 

 

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or other relevant discipline
• 5+ years of experience as a software developer
• active Top Secret Security clearance with ability to obtain SCI status
• familiarity with SAFe® principles, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Ability to work on numerous assignments at one time with demonstrated follow-through, attention to detail and commitment to business partnership
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity - in business requirements, technology options and project direction

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
• Experience working on SAFE® Agile or Scrum development teams
• Familiarity with CNO or adjacent concepts
• Familiarity with Cross Domain Solutions
