Product Owner

The Role: In this position, you act as the product owner responsible for the product direction, priorities, and requirements for key areas of the overall product. Leading one to three agile scrum teams as the product owner, you will be responsible for understanding the product vision and key metrics to create and prioritize product enhancements, bugs, and technical efficiencies to meet or exceed the key metrics. This role will be co-located with other product owners and the development teams in Gothenburg, Sweden which enables you to be autonomous and efficient in your product planning, execution, and delivery. 

What you will do as a Product Owner

Recorded Future Security Intelligence Platform provides instant context into threat actors, their motivations, their capabilities, and their tactics to allow defenders to take action and protect their organization. This includes distilling actionable insights from over 1M sources including deep and dark web, open web, and technical feeds. The Product Owner is responsible for defining and prioritizing user stories and their corresponding sub-tasks to deliver product outcomes, usually in the form of new product functionality within the platform. 

You’ll work in a very fast paced and collaborative engineering process. We ship our SaaS product every week, and use a wide variety of new and mature technologies. Expect to work on a range of projects, quickly adapting to the needs of our customers and business. 

What you will bring to the Product Owner role:

• Experience working with in an agile environment, specifically experience in a product owner role
• Ability to break down complex problems into tangible user stories
• Strong decision making skills and ability to defend decisions
• Education: BS or MS in Computer Science or related engineering field
• Proven success working in detail with developers and customers
• Hands-on technical skills working with APIs, data, and integrations
• Organization, project management, and professional presentation skills
• Love of problem solving. Driven to move fast and deliver results!
