Product Owner
Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner (PO) who is fluent in Arabic and has a solid background in financial payments and banking. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the product backlog, ensuring that our financial products meet client needs, and delivering exceptional presentations and reports. The role requires a strong personality with excellent communication skills to drive product vision and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Product Backlog Management: Define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and fixes based on business needs, customer feedback, and market trends. Ensure the backlog is well-groomed and actionable.
β’ Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including customers, development teams, and management. Gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
β’ Financial Payments Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of financial payments and banking to drive product development and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
β’ Presentation and Reporting: Develop and deliver compelling presentations and reports to stakeholders and executive teams. Communicate product status, progress, and roadmaps effectively.
β’ Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product strategies, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans.
β’ Strong Leadership: Demonstrate a strong personality with the ability to influence and lead teams, drive decisions, and resolve conflicts.
Qualifications:
β’ Language Requirement: English & Fluency in Arabic (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
β’ Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a similar role within the financial payments and banking sector.
β’ Skills:
o Proven ability to manage and prioritize product backlogs.
o Strong presentation and reporting skills with a track record of delivering impactful presentations.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
o Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
β’ Education: Bachelorβs degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Preferred Attributes:
β’ Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
β’ Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in financial payments and banking
