Product Owner

Job objective: This is an exciting role in a growing company. The ideal candidate for the position is someone who has experience taking a technical product from concept to launch. A combination of technical prowess, strong project execution, and excellent people management skills will make a candidate successful.

• Responsible for planning product roadmap, innovation, and development for complex systems
• Partner with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
• Translate customer feedback and roadmap features into well-defined, testable, requirements that guide the engineering team
• Work in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, identifies opportunities and risks, and oversees mitigation efforts.
• Lead a multi-discipline team of engineers to develop a product
• Work with Marketing and Business Development to bring the product to market
• Coordinate the transition from prototype to production to enable efficient manufacturing
• Ensure company leadership is aware of product status and needs
• Hire any necessary skill sets to maximize technical edge of Epirus products
• Willingness to learn about all aspects of the system

• Balance of technical skills and business acumen
• Organized; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• BS degree in an Engineering or Scientific field
• 5+ years of experience in product/project management, Systems Engineering, or related
• US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident (future security clearance may be required)

• Track record delivering complex electromechanical systems to production
• Expertise in developing product development plans including driving continuous improvement in product development practices
• Understanding of basic RF and Power engineering concepts  
• MS degree in an Engineering or Scientific field
