Product Owner, Advisory Investment Programs

Your role

• develop a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap covering the full product development lifecycle (including creation, version and infrastructure upgrades, and eventual decommissioning)
• engage on functional design of new advisory platforms/programs, and enhancements to existing programs
• learn new complex concepts quickly to develop detailed knowledge in one or more Advisory platforms
• drive quality deliverables and manage to aggressive timelines, managing multiple concurrent priorities and projects

• collaborate with leads across Business, Platform & Technology counterparts, building strong relationships across the firm and have strong internal team and vendor management capabilities
• proactively identify value-added solutions and then develop and implement change initiatives which move the business forward
• assist in or manage testing workstreams in support of platform enhancements
• provide input around how to maximize the platform experience and capabilities that should be introduced

Your team

You'll be joining the Advisory Investment Program crew in Weehawken, NJ. This team is focused on implementing the business strategy in advisory programs and platforms to deliver Advisor and client value.

Your expertise

You have:
• multiple years of experience delivering complex products to clients within the financial industry
• an understanding of the Wealth Management Industry and Advisory products and services. This should include:
o advisory solutions, including firm, advisor and client discretionary products
o end to end Advisory lifecycle including prospecting, proposals, enrollment and maintenance, portfolio construction and portfolio management
o unified Advisory Platform / Unified Managed Account capabilities, including sub-accounting, rebalancing and surveillance
• extensive experience writing / managing requirements / user stories and working with UX designers, Technology team and business stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
• practical experience using prototyping tools to create interactive demonstrations of new product capabilities
• outstanding analytical capability and the ability to synthesize findings
• industry experience related to financial services

You are:
• data-driven, analytical and innovative mindset. Proven problem solving and decision making skills
• familiar with Agile development and methodology
• familiar with the Advisory lifecycle including proposals, enrollment and maintenance, portfolio construction and portfolio management
