Enterprise Operations Analytics (EOA) delivers analytic solutions to internal and external business partners that help reduce health costs, improve outcomes, and provides financial security and present meaningful opportunities to our business.

The EOA Business Analytics Lead Analyst (Client Pillar Agile Product Owner) will serve as the Product Owner of the SOBI Client Pillar Performance Analytics Agile Team, with special focus on ensuring the team has the necessary information for understanding the business expectations in order to deliver new functionality that maximizes business value. This analytics professional will collaborate with client stakeholder leaders, the agile scrum team, and other EOA Agile teams. As a key member of the Agile scrum team leadership, this role is a hands-on role responsible for guiding end-to-end design, development, deployment, and integration of reporting & analytics solutions. The role and associated scrum team are dedicated support to Readiness and Performance teams from Service Operations Client Service & Implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Translates and analyzes product roadmap features into well-defined business requirements including detailed user stories delivering business value and expected outcomes.
  • Create, own, and manage the team backlog, constantly collaborating with customers and the team to ensure work items are refined
  • Prioritizes to ensure that the team is working on stories that maximizes business value and deliver necessary fixes and functionality to all customers
  • Own, develop, and maintain a healthy backlog of features and stories
  • Lead your team through the refinement of user stories, ensuring that the business value remains the focus.
  • Enable the team to succeed through the management of actionable stories and help remove or illuminate any blockers to the Product Manager or Release Train Engineer as they arise.
  • Coordinate teamwork efforts to maximize velocity and value delivery
  • Accept stories to ensure they meet the defined acceptance criteria
  • Work with team and partners for quality assurance and release scheduling
  • Prepare and conduct sprint reviews and agile demo meetings for product stakeholders
  • Continuously engage with the business, technology, and other key stakeholders to stay informed, nurturing strong and trusting relationships and increasing business knowledge to represent vision, strategy, and customer/business needs
  • Provide context for prioritizing and accepting the work demoed by the agile team, specifically ensuring the right value is delivered
  • Exemplify agile principles, encourage good practices, and assist team to continue to develop and mature in agile practices and methodologies
  • Work in an agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refine priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.
  • Provide counsel and advice to top management/stakeholders on significant matters, often requiring coordination between different teams and organizations.
  • Proactively resolve upstream dependencies and resolve conflict effectively across teams.
  • Effectively communicate the team's goals and accomplishments to peers and leadership showing the value the product is bringing to the business
  • Foster the adoption of product enhancements to end users and track and report on value creation

Qualifications
  • Skilled in Agile tools (Jira/Jira Align/Rally)
  • 2+ years of agile team experience; experience as a Product Owner is a plus
  • Knowledge of core agile principles and tenets; Agile certification is a plus
  • General understanding of the functions of Service Operations; analytics and/or client business-domain knowledge will be considered a plus
  • Broad understanding of analytics tools and techniques (i.e. Tableau, Cognos, Programming, Data Management, Analytics Methods)
  • Self-directed achiever who identifies opportunities to drive business value delivery
  • Excellent people skills with a customer-service oriented approach, focused on building relationships with people at all levels of the organization from Directors to Scrum Team Members
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 70,400 - 117,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
