The Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) enterprise has an exciting opportunity to be a part of FRFS Technology Group as Product Owner (PO) for FedLine Network Solutions in the FedLine division. In this role, the selected individual will report to the Assistant Vice President of FedLine Access Solutions and will be an integral part of the team leading FRFS into the future.
Product Owners (POs) are organizationally aligned with business lines supporting Product Management and are members of the technology solution delivery teams. Product owners focus on business-based product delivery associated with Federal Reserve System technology service products and solutions. Engaged from strategic business planning to tactical product delivery. Responsibilities involve implementation of product and service solutions through business engagement, knowledge of business needs and perspectives, active decision-making, and technology delivery knowledge. Relationship management will extend to stakeholders and customers throughout the Federal Reserve System, as well as internally with senior leadership, information technology teams, and other internal/external partners.
The Product Owner will collaborate with the FRFS Technology team and National IT BDGs in ongoing strategic planning to create integrated technology roadmaps that support and align to the business strategy and high priority objectives in FedLine Network products and technologies.
Key Activities: Work with business sponsors/stakeholders and National IT staff to implement and manage the product life cycle and capabilities, specifically:
o Responsible for ownership and prioritization of the technology solution delivery teams' backlog(s).
o Ensures that business requirements and technical documentation are aligned with the business inputs by writing and/or approving business rules, user stories, integration dependencies, etc.
o Plays a significant role in quality control as the only team member empowered to accept stories as done.
o Advocates for business needs by applying a deep understanding of business processes, goals, and problems.
o Ensures product vision is communicated to the technology delivery teams. o Accountable for attesting that the delivered outputs align with business requirements

What we are looking for
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers to develop a vision and technical product roadmap that translates into actionable plans and results.
- Experience technical SME driven to plan, deliver, evolve, and improve the solutions in the FedLine Network portfolio.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-System with both embedded and matrixed resources in pursuit of a common objective.
- Experience managing vendor partnerships and dependencies.
- Excellent influence and negotiation skills with executive and subject matter experts with the ability to facilitate discussions around complex issues to develop a common understanding and bring issues to resolution.
- Strong business acumen with ability to be a hands-on, visible, goal-oriented, and independent- minded leader who will constructively challenge the FRFS leadership team and bring leading-edge thinking to effectively guide change within the FRFS.
- Experience serving as a champion of building a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Intellectually curious and agile, with demonstrated ability to experiment and lead innovation.
Your Background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Information Security or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 4 years experience in network design, implementation, or management. This would ideally include experience with large Virtual Private Network (VPN) implementations and large private networks (MPLS).
- Certifications desirable - CCNP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking
- Experience with SDWAN, and Cloud networking a plus.
- Experience with Scaled Agile is a plus
