M Financial is seeking a client-focused, data-driven, CRM Product Owner dedicated to maintaining and improving the experience for our Advisor offices. This role includes leading cross-functional resources necessary for successful product definition. You will collaborate to understand business goals and identify business problems that may be effectively resolved with technology solutions. You will deliver measurable business results through product solutions that meet both Advisor needs and company goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide vision and direction to the stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements in the forms of Epics, Themes and Stories
  • Understand the market, the users, and the business strategy for the product
  • Represent the customer including directing and participating in customer communication
  • Gather user stories which describe the product from the user's perspective
  • Manage the product backlog by applying parameters for assigning business value, effort, and overall priority
  • Assure a level of quality by working with the team to agree on story acceptance criteria and definition of done
  • Coordinate dependencies to achieve the frequent, reliable, and continuous release of value-added product increments
  • Align with other business units to ensure that the execution is coordinated across various delivery teams
  • Communicate product priorities to inform the team's product increment and iteration planning
  • Collaborate with the product team and other stakeholders to deliver product demos
  • Work with the PMO in identifying resource needs for execution
  • Communicate status updates to the PMO including issues/risks, product performance, and financials
  • Manage CRM vendor and other 3rd party integration vendor relationships
  • Provide tier-3 product support and 3rd party integration support
  • Maintain billing and invoicing for Advisor offices
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years of progressive experience working as a Product Owner in a technology environment
  • Understanding of software design principles, tools, and technologies
  • Proven ability to define a set of requirements that pinpoint business challenges and identify technical and business changes required to address them
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and the business teams
  • Experience supporting/rolling out initiatives to business teams
  • Deep knowledge of MS Excel
  • Not required, but highly valued:
    • SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner with PMPO Certification
    • Agile experience
    • VBA, SQL
    • Crystal Reports
