Job Description
We are currently seeking a seasoned Product Owner to join our team. The Product Owner will act as the liaison between our business stakeholders and our agile development team, ensuring that the team is delivering value and aligning with the business goals. The Product Owner should have a solid grasp on business operations, the ability to communicate with diverse teams, and a commitment to achieving company objectives.Â
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a deep understanding of assigned products, customer needs, and underlying metricsÂ
- Closely work with the product management team to understand the product vision, strategic product direction, and product roadmapÂ
- Meet with customers and internal stakeholders to understand the business objectives and rationale behind specific customer requestsÂ
- Monitor customer feedback channels and conduct product research in collaboration with sales, customer success, support, and product design to gather information from various sources and toolsÂ
- Specify and document software requirements in story format (as in agile methodology) with proper acceptance criteria that meet the business requirements.Â
- Resolve questions and provide clarifications raised by the engineering team during the development processÂ
- Review and help with test plans to ensure that developed solutions will meet defined requirementsÂ
- Assist with product management for training and the demonstration of new product features in sprint demosÂ
- Maintain a ranked backlog of new features, expressed in terms of epics and user stories, while prioritizing the needs of the product’s stakeholdersÂ
- Actively participate in regular activities of an agile team, including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and acceptance/rejection of completed workÂ
- Partner with the product team on product launchesÂ
Qualifications
- Experience of 4-6 years is typicalÂ
- Strong problem-solving skillsÂ
- Experience with agile methodology, with specific Product Owner (or similar) experience preferred.Â
- One or more related certifications such as Pragmatic, PMI- Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Certified Product Owner (CPO) is preferredÂ
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, success-driven team environmentÂ
- Proven experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.Â
- Ownership of process and a commitment to the vision, team and business needsÂ
- Ability to collaborate and meet the established deadlinesÂ
- Ability to effectively manage conflict to achieve goalsÂ
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Â
- Technical proficiency, with a proven ability to understand and explain issues from both a technical and a business functional point of view.Â
- Experience working with user groups to collect requirements.Â
- Healthcare experience is a plusÂ
- Bachelor’s Degree preferredÂ
