Product Owner III - Enterprise Data Management
Job Description
The Product Owner serves the Enterprise Data Management Delivery Team by ongoing and iterative prioritization of the product backlog, ensuring requirements for user stories/features are complete prior to each sprint, and addresses questions the development team may have in sprint planning and throughout the sprint. The Product Owner is responsible for ensuring the technology life cycle of their product is accounted for and any necessary investments, upgrades, or enhancements are communicated to their customer base and prioritized with new development.
The Product Owner, in collaboration with the Scrum Master, is responsible for ensuring quality deliverables at the end of each sprint. As the liaison for the customer, the Product Owner is accountable for determining whether sprint deliverables have met the definition of done or require additional work.
Accountable for more complex responsibilities with minimal supervision. Serves as a resource to others. Moderate decision-making authority to apply professional specialty to complex projects in organization. Determine and modify job practices and processes. Recommends new projects and/or work procedures within job scope to influence team or unit goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree focused on business, health care administration, or information systems, or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of work experience
This position is a Hub role, which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the designated office - Minnetonka, MN or Madison, WI for applicable heads-up work. Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership.
Hiring range placement is dependent on a variety of considerations such as the candidate's skillset level and competency level of the posted role, in addition to their education and performance history. Further factors include market analysis and internal equity.
