Product Owner, KINTO Join Ltd.

At Kinto Join we are empowering organisations to travel sustainably. We are now seeking a talented and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be accountable for the success of the KINTO Ride product. The Kinto Ride product delivers an end-to-end solution for shuttle operators to optimise their operator and grow their business.

The Product Owner is a credible, experienced product leader. Your product decisions will be based on a solid foundation of insight and data and you will be skilled at partnering with stakeholders across the organisation and externally. As the voice of the customer representative in the team, you will be working with stakeholders, including people in the business and markets to define the product strategy, product vision and product goals. You will be accountable for ‘building the right product’ for the wider business by defining and prioritising customer centric requirements in the Product Backlog based on market understanding, data analytics, and feedback. You'll also be providing matrix leadership for the cross functional delivery team consisting of Web, iOS, and Android Devs, QA / Test, DevOPS, Scrum Master, UX Design and research, Data Analytics.

What you will be doing

• Accountable for the success of the product development, defining the direction to meet the strategic needs of the business, tracing success and leading an empowered and effective matrix delivery team.
• Set the short term (0-3 months) product strategy and roadmap, identifying and justifying new ideas to meet business goals

• Empower and support the Delivery team to execute the short-term plan (0-3 months) and ensure that they are able to turn the longer-term vision into reality.
• Identify, validate documents and prioritise business requirements for enhancements and new ideas to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Set the short term product strategy and vision working with commercial, technology and business peers and market stakeholders.

• Work collaboratively with business teams to build an instinctive understanding of local markets, targets, and goals, agree on priorities and share feedback.
• Commission market and customer research and uses data and insights to support effective decision-making.
• Understand the products, customers and markets and the broader competitive digital landscape.
• Work collaboratively with other business functions to build support for new propositions and obtain buy-in and support for new initiatives.
• As a matrix people manager, inspire, mentor and coach delivery team members to achieve their full potential.

You will have the following experience and skills:

• 4+ years of working as a Product Owner with Agile development teams demonstrating business impact
• Experience with the full ‘end-to-end’ product delivery lifecycle (PDLC)

• Experience in matrix management and coaching team members
• Experience creating short-term product strategies and proposals
• Ability to extract meaning/trends from analysis of customer and market data
• Skilled at managing stakeholders in large organisations
• Effective prioritisation and demonstration of a clear sense of business and customer value
• Understanding of Agile digital product design and delivery
• Able to work under pressure and make pragmatic decisions
• Able to say No to important stakeholders with a clear explanation as to why
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

In addition, the following would be useful:

• Experience in Ride-hailing, fleet management or mobility
• Experience with and C02 reduction
• Experience working in a global commercial business with remote teams
• A Technical / Engineering / Scientific Degree
• MBA or similar business qualification
• Figma, Miro, JIRA, Confluence advance user
• A/B testing tools and Google Analytics
