POSITION SUMMARY
AdAction is seeking a motivated Product Owner to help drive the product strategy and manage the product development process. As a product owner, you should have the ability to plan and manage the development process from start to finish, and ensure that the product meets the customer's needs.
The Product Owner will be responsible for website management inclusive of tracking to enable digital analytics, on-page and off-page optimization. As a key member of the product team, you will be responsible for owning and elevating AdAction's web performance & experiences to serve user needs and meet organizational objectives.
This role requires a naturally curious, strategic and data-driven marketer that knows how to optimize for conversions without creating a detrimental user experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the business owner for the product and have a pulse on everything from overall performance, optimization opportunities, internal and external stakeholder needs, and operations.
  • Analyze and improve product user experience, based on web traffic, competitor and technology platform data and provides reporting to leadership and stakeholders
  • Apply a data driven approach to define, prioritize and validate the product roadmap and backlog, using multiple data sources and customer insight (qualitative and quantitative) to continuously drive improvements in the online user experience
  • Acquire and interpret data for quick decision-making and problem-solving
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
  • Work closely with internal teams to create and maintain product backlog according to business value
  • Manage a small book of external clients as the technical point of contact for AdAction product
  • Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they're clearly understood by relevant teams
  • Develop and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of business performance and using that data to make performance and product recommendations
  • Drive organizational visibility into product development progress and completion

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of experience in product and/or marketing related roles (Product Manager, Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Software Development, Website Manager, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize data to illuminate key findings and areas of opportunity + summarize findings that educate key stakeholders in a way that is meaningful and compelling
  • Excellent work ethic, with an ability to be self-motivated; managing changing priorities and meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, leadership, and business partners
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
