Product Owner - Marketing Technology
Job Description
This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Expert knowledge in all business processes across an entire line of business, as well expertise in other lines of business and technology disciplines
- Understanding of global and line of business project and program management standards and methods
- Experience working collaboratively with high-performing teams in complex program execution, developing meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
- Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm as a liaison between lines of business and the development team
- Proficiency in business applications, data usage, and management, ideally with exposure to Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software programs and an understanding of Marketing use cases when managing customer relationships
- Understanding of the Agile methodologies
Responsibilities:
- Understand, drive, and iterate on the overall scope for releases on the Marketing Technology roadmap
- Collaborate with the scrum teams to identify and manage risks that affect the overall release delivery
- Measure, monitor, and report the progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time
- Own the release management lifecycle which including scheduling, managing and coordinating of the releases across a defined scope of applications towards the Marketing Technology initiatives
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go Reviews
- Partner with the Scrum teams and management to align and implement the planning sessions
- Produce and collaborate on the deployment, run books, and integration plans
- Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams in different locations, ensuring alignment across key partners and vendors through delivery
- Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes to requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope
