We are looking for an enthusiastic product owner with Regulatory compliance experience for our Global Capital Markets product team. The Product Owner is responsible for ensuring the ongoing viability of feature sets and applications related to Donnelley Financial Solution's financial reporting solution initiatives. This role will collaborate with the Management Team, Client Services, Sales, IT, clients and business partners to analyze business needs, maximize value and create clear user stories that advance the business strategy of the filing platform(s).
The Product Owner is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager also ensures that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
A Product Owner must:

• Be able to say "no," but explain why in terms that stakeholders understand
• Be a ruthless 'prioritiser' while balancing the needs of customers and stakeholders
• Bring evidence-based decision-making to your communication

Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Convert market requirements into actionable and high-value user stories, minimal marketable features, and acceptance criteria based on the market need
• Act as an evangelist for the features you manage including testing expected behavior
• Conceptualize new ideas, research and evaluate them objectively from a financial and market perspective
• Collaborate with engineering to prioritize enhancements, new features, and defect handling
• Operates as a product owner within an Agile team for SaaS solutions serving the B2B markets
• Prioritization and management of Product Backlog items
• Collaborate across the organization to ensure projects are delivered on time and within agreed upon scope
• Monitor performance of features and continually iterate for a better client experience
• Oversees feature release in an Agile environment working with engineering to deliver on commitments
• Serves as product expert, understands user workflow; and works with engineering to deliver on commitments; conducts product demonstrations to clients and internal audiences
• Creation of product strategy documents and implementation plans related to product initiatives
• Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders regarding business needs, application features, and updates
• Oversee multiple project timelines and efforts
• Demonstrated experience in successfully launching SaaS solutions to a B2B market

Qualifications

• Regulatory technology experience preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, BSA, BA or PSPO, or CSPO preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to Quality
• Strong attention to detail and respect for timelines & deadlines
• Excellent written, verbal, web, and face-to-face communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence others, resolve conflict, and act as Product Owner
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, ceremonies, and software
• Effective in a dynamic, matrix organization with an aggressive multi-project schedule
• Experience working with Azure DevOps and Aha is a plus

Additional Qualifications

• Backgrounds in any of the following areas are a significant plus:
  • Accounting/finance/investor relations
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
  • US Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC EDGAR) reporting
  • Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL)
