YOUR ROLE
As Genworth continues to evaluate the performance of existing blocks of Long Term Care insurance, it is important that we accurately implement rate increases and provide reduced benefit options to policyholders. Genworth's US Life Insurance division is looking for a Product Project Management Specialist to help the team with successful implementations of these rate increases. You will work side-by-side with the Product team, Agile Product Owner and other stakeholders to provide analysis, manage reporting needs, track enhancements and assist with any required research. You will also learn about Agile methodology and surging to assist Product Owners when required.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Frequently meet with Product, Operations and other stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure they incorporated into the appropriate initiative
- Partner with the project feature agile teams to assist with testing output reviews & provide production checkout support following each LTC Admin Release
- Partner with Communication team & Product Owners to ensure that policyholder letter changes for all projects are tracked and implemented correctly into production; assist with post-production letter review
- Research any escalations or post-project implementation related issues; Track and monitor any needed workarounds and/or remediation efforts with Customer Service
- Provide support for manual letter corrections & adhoc mailings
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key business stakeholders; leverage their insight to develop great products and identify cross-organizational synergies & dependencies
- Monitor and investigate policies on missing rate action report; work with IT to take appropriate action
- Provide LTC product knowledge/respond to questions and issues asked of the Implementation team
- Support other team members and Product Owners on the project feature agile teams
MUST HAVE / WHAT YOU BRING
- High School Diploma
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple customer requests based upon business value
- Collaborative team player who is consistently executes deliverables in a timely manner
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
NICE TO HAVE
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years' experience in Operations or Project Management
- Previous experience with Long Term Care Insurance and/or associated rate increases
- Understanding of Agile, Scrum and related principles and best practices a plus
- CLOAS experience
