Product Reporting & Analytics Specialist

The Product Reporting & Analytics Analyst will play a key role within the Product team by contributing to and expanding upon our business intelligence program. The analyst will provide insights to our most significant metrics, build financial models, support complex deals, and own post-mortem data and analysis. This highly visible role will work in partnership with the Product senior leadership team and with multiple Zayo functions to define metrics and ensure alignment, accountability, accuracy, and simplicity in how we track business outcomes across the organization.

Roles and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Analyze the data for our key performance indicators (KPI)

• Work with Product leadership to develop and maintain data driven models for analyses and prediction of Sales, Revenue, OpEx, CapEx, and other KPIs

• Develop and maintain data sources, dashboards, tools, data standards, and KPI targets and results.

• Identify and resolve complex challenges and drive process improvements and automation

• Collaborate with Finance, Global Sales & Marketing, and Service Delivery to ensure data alignment across teams

• Deliver and craft high-quality dashboards and presentations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science or other data intensive program, or equivalent work experience required

• Master’s degree in similar field preferred

• 1-3 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Finance, or data intensive role

• Advanced spreadsheet user (Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets), with experience in financial modeling

• Demonstrated ability to extract trends and to think critically about the data 

• Ability to interface cross-functionally and with various levels of management to visualize and convey concepts

• Ambitious learner ready to understand how to identify and manage metrics related to business successes and challenges

• Demonstrates high expectations out of self and career with a strong desire to grow in contribution

• Ability to multi-task and manage competing requests in a professional manner

• Experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, Tableau, and/or SQL a plus

Base pay range: $58,100 - $77,400, commensurate with experience.
