Job Summary
As a Product Segment Associate with Identiv, you will lead the Transponder (RFID/HF) go-to-market strategy to ensure all marketing programs support Identiv's growth strategy. This position requires tight interaction with sales, marketing, and product development teams.
Success in this role requires a strategic and innovative mindset and the ability to read future market trends and needs, with strong teamwork and relationship-building skills. You will work with cross-functional teams across geographic boundaries. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to identify key market dynamics that impact the business, and a mindset that embraces change in a fast-paced and ambitious team environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic go-to-market plan and product/business unit positioning
- Lead new product introduction with Product Management
- Analyze marketing strategy from different points of view and influence multiple stakeholders in a matrix structure to work towards common goals
- Set breakthrough product marketing strategies and programs by developing key customer and market insights, and delivering innovative marketing solutions
- Analyze marketing strategies and ROMI to drive continuous improvement
- Drive voice of the customer, net promoter score, and share of voice analysis to evaluate customer feedback and market attribution
- Translate long-term market trends into positioning statements and value propositions
- Create compelling value propositions and oversee the production of all product content. Collaborate with product management teams to design a winning content strategy and oversee the development of material that drives global sales growth (Competitive collateral, presentations, training material, etc.)
- Be a champion for your product portfolio by articulating the values and strengths of Identiv's products versus competitive products
- Consistently monitor market intelligence, and related technology trends, conduct competitive analysis, and deliver insights that advance Identiv's marketing programs
- Actively engage with key customers and targeted accounts to build an account-based marketing program that expands the pipeline and supports the ability to drive revenue growth
- Drive outbound marketing activities including product promotions, trade shows, etc.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ Years of Technical Marketing experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of RFID (HF, NFC, and UHF) technology is ideal
- Able to convince and lead people internally (positive impact on the organization, ability to get buy-in)
- Demonstrated ability to translate marketing data into actionable insights.
- Salesforce and Pardot (or other marketing automation tools) experience
- Demonstrated ability to build industry relationships
- Able to convert highly technical value propositions into a compelling customer story
- Project management experience
- New product introduction experience
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
