About the Role
Our Product Applications team is growing! We are looking for a Product Specialist to join our Product Applications team to refine and document how the SOFTBOT Platform is applied for customers in the form of “Apps”. You will work alongside Product Managers, Engineering, and the RevOps & Growth Team to understand requirements and help deliver thoughtful software products.
A potential day in the life of an SVT Product Specialist:
- Refine top-level specifications for new Applications, providing workflow detail and functional requirements for a solution.
- Review API documentation to evaluate and refine requirements for Applications to be developed.
- Research leading and innovative technologies in the industry, digging into how various technologies integrate to one another.
- Support integration tests performed at the SVT Innovation Lab in Norfolk, VA where possible.
- Support the product life cycle of Applications, including documenting ideas for future Application features, evaluating incoming user feedback and change requests, and developing upgrade plans for SVT customer deployments.
- Support product documentation by creating deployment guides, product listings, and other collateral for each Application developed.
- You will primarily work in Aha! for product management.
- Participate in daily standups, discovery sessions, refinement sessions, and other Agile-based collaborations led by the Product Applications team.
Required skills / qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an Agile environment developing specifications and refining functional and nonfunctional requirements.
- Basic knowledge of API development and integration requirements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a remote environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate.
- Positive attitude with the understanding and flexibility to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Self-motivating and driven, with effective time management skills to balance multiple objectives at once.
- Ability to travel to Norfolk, VA as required.
