Product Specialist, SAP

We are looking for a Product Specialist, SAP with deep functional knowledge in SAP applications and experience building and integrating connectivity solutions for high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade SAP on-premise and cloud applications.

You will be part of a core product team that is responsible for building a system that can process billions of tasks a day. You will collaborate with other engineering, product and customer success teams to come up with elegant solutions to complex problems. You will work in a polyglot environment where you can learn state-of-the-art technologies whilst working with an enthusiastic and global team.

You will also be responsible to:

• Identify customer needs and help customers use SAP features of Workato

• Work closely with customers to facilitate using Workato SAP connector and troubleshoot connector issues

• Collaborate closely with Customer Success team and Enterprise Architects to analyze and resolve customers’ issues across different business verticals and global regions

• Provide enablement to internal teams about the SAP landscape and Workato’s positioning in the space

• Provide technical feedback necessary to facilitate developing and extending Workato SAP connectivity

• Work with product managers and engineers to establish and execute Workato-SAP connectivity roadmap and communicate important information on SAP connector releases, fixes, workarounds

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

• In-depth knowledge of SAP communication methods and APIs (RFMs, BAPIs, IDocs)

• 4+ years industry hands on work with multiple SAP applications

• 3+ years implementing integrations between various SAP modules and other systems, both on-premise and in the cloud

• Proficiency with setting up ALE/IDoc configuration and distribution is a plus

• Knowledge of Data Services and SOAP WebServices is a plus

• Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
