We are looking for a Product Specialist - Sustainabilityto join our sales and client success team with the goal of supporting clients' needs in the rapidly growing Sustainability/ESG/ Impact space.

LOCATION: New York City, London, Madrid or remote

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Client focus: Support the sales efforts through ESG/ Impact/ Climate demos, successful trials, and providing insights on how Clarity AI's solutions can be integrated to support clients' Sustainability initiatives
  • Connector across functions: Identify and synthesize Sustainability needs to help drive Clarity AI's offerings.
  • Deep subject matter understanding: In person, VC, and written engagement with clients to answer questions and explain Clarity AI's metrics and research methodologies in response to client questions, meetings and RFPs
  • Internal leverage: Partnering with the sales team across market segments through the creation of materials such as training decks, recordings, and summary documentation/FAQs.
  • Continuous learning and support: Independent and collaborative learning on sustainability measurement techniques, client types and needs, and regulatory developments will be necessary to provide ongoing educational support and expertise to onboarded clients by working alongside our Customer Success team.


Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in roles with a commercial or client service focus
  • Understanding of the financial services ecosystem, the role of financial technology firms and sustainable finance (financial services and SaaS products are a plus)
  • Sustainability certifications, such as GRI, FSA SASB, CESGA and CFA Certificate in ESG Investing, as well as financial accreditations such as CFA or IMC will be considered favorably
  • Self-starter who will thrive in a start-up setting by taking ownership and initiative
  • Quantitative and critical thinking skills with natural curiosity and an innovative approach to problem solving
  • Deep passion and interest in social impact and sustainability
  • Degree in business, economics, econometrics, statistics, math, or other applied quantitative field. Bachelor's degree and a strong record of success doing similar work will be considered.
  • Commercial and client focus with knowledge of the software sales cycle. Experience using a CRM tool (e.g. Salesforce) and other standard business software is a plus
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Decisive and action oriented who can get things done, make rapid decisions even when short of information, and has a high level of energy and stamina.
  • Complete fluency in English (minimum C1 level- proficient user)
