ALLO’s Product Strategy role will lead the organization’s planning of initiatives focusing on growing the software and services portfolio which augments its fiber network with value-add solutions that our existing and new customers would adopt. This role is part of the ALLO Product Organization and will be focused on prioritizing market problems to solve, articulating value propositions, quantifying addressable revenues by market and solution and defining clear and concise roadmaps. This position will work with ALLO Product, Development, Marketing, Client Success, Finance & Operations to align the organization for successful and hassle-free solution and feature launches.
Focus of this role will include, but not be limited to analyzing industry verticals that need tailored solutions that would benefit from ALLO’s unique and ubiquitous network, such as Higher Education, Multi-Dwelling Unit complexes, Utility Companies, Agriculture, etc. A background in analytics and fraud solutions is also preferred.
The Product Strategy role will report to the Director of Product and will be expected to be effective at communicating with senior leadership, all ALLO teammates regardless of business unit, customers, prospect, community leaders from all industries.

This role involves developing, managing, and growing trust-based relationships with ALLO customers, prospects and internal teammates. 

  • Build and implement product strategies in line with ALLO’s vision and overall strategy 
  • Retrieve and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, teammates and industry experts to shape requirements, features and end products 
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to create new solution plans, business cases and roadmaps 
  • Proactively engage customers and prospects in target markets to garner feedback  
  • Work collaboratively with all teammates to meet ALLO’s core values in all areas of the business 
  • Provide thought collateral to assist other product and division teams to understand new ALLO solutions, products and services 
  • As new solution market opportunities are introduced, supervise and support product managers and coordinate cross functional teams 
  • Work with product leadership team to propose new initiatives, plans and programs to improve the effectiveness of Product Organization function 
  • Experience with understanding market addressable and attainable opportunities to measure impact new solutions could provide the ALLo organization financially  
  • Develop, manage and communicate with new customer councils as is deemed necessary to gain market feedback with a trusted set of customers to help inform investment priorities 
  • Manage communications across ALLO’s business and divisions to ensure successful launch for both Sales and GTM solution launches 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in product design, engineering, software development or similar 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years experience as a Senior Product Manager, Product Manager or Product Owner or equivalent. 

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

  • Strong experience in a dynamic product management role 
  • Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle 
  • Highly effective cross-functional team management 
  • Previous experience delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies 
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills 
  • Servant Leadership

  • Strong communication and multi-tasking skills
