Job Description:
SUMMARY
Manages and maintains databases consisting of large sets of strategic and industry data for Black Knight's Servicing Technologies Product Innovation (STPI) division. Responsible for long-term goals and strategic objectives to ensure alignment with the company's strategy goals. Tracks the competition, and identifies threats or opportunities as well as identifies gaps in current product offerings. Analyzes issues that affect productivity, profitability, and growth. Identifies, researches, and evaluates internal and external data from multiple sources and develops product and market analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifies, researches, and evaluates complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources
- Pull scripts from database(s) to create dashboards and data sets to analyze and present to senior leadership
- Process, clean, and integrate large, diverse data sets to ensure accurate and complete data
- Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce recommendations and business and/or strategic plans based on company and external data analysis
- Design and implement data modeling solutions for executives, team members, business owners, etc.
- Manage and maintain relationships with vendors of data used and timely ingestion of data sets
- Directs the planning and preparation of business proposals, and advises senior management by providing data-based strategic direction
- Performs additional related duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Requires 6+ years of related experience
- Requires 1+ year(s) of leadership responsibility
- Proficiency in SQL, Visual Studio, Tableau, and Python
- Strong data management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- In-depth mortgage industry knowledge
- Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences Of various levels in the organization
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills
- Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
- Project management skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasks
