Product Strategy Manager (Hybrid)

About the Role:
As a Product Strategy Manager at Pangea you will be responsible for ensuring that we have well-researched and vetted product initiatives ready for the product development team to define, build and deliver. This includes identifying new opportunities through funnel analyses, competitive assessment & qualitative research and quantifying impact using customer surveys, researched benchmarks and compelling business cases. You will also vet key assumptions and blockers to ensure there is a clear path to execution. You should be intensely curious, a customer advocate, highly quantitative, value rigor and be an excellent written and verbal communicator.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities through competitive assessment, customer research and quantitative analysis
- Develop a structured roadmap of key hypotheses to validate
- Effectively communicate product strategy to executives and the Product Development team
- Run quantitative focus groups and qualitative research to validate key assumptions and product/market fit of new product opportunities
- Be the in-house expert on our customers, product offerings, industry happenings and competition
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of consumer-facing Product Management, Product Strategy/Analytics or Management Consulting experience in a product-focused company or role.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others
- An entrepreneurial mindset and propensity to get out of the building to find answers
- Be able to chart out clarity from ambiguity
- Deep understanding of how customers interact with digital products
- Experience working with teams in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Experience taking customer insights and translating them product experiences
- Ability to communicate qualitative and quantitative results clearly, succinctly, and confidently to an executive audience
- Analytical mindset for quantitative analysis to mine product opportunities
- Prior experience with customer research or segmentation preferred
