Product UX Designer

The Product UX Designer is a leader within the organization, partnering with product management and engineering to design and build products that delight users. You will take ownership of a key value stream in the business, obsessing over your user's problems and collaborating with engineering and product management to solve those problems in a creative way. You are responsible for driving adoption of best practices in user and product research, prototyping, experimentation, and user experience. Your collaboration extends beyond your immediate team to cross functional groups including sales, marketing, and customer success. You are responsible for the outcomes of your product, including adoption and engagement and are granted autonomy to figure out how. You will work with the Manager of Product Design, ensuring that the outcomes of your product are aligned across the broader product line.

Requirements

TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to embrace Vasion's product portfolio direction, helping build a superior customer interface and overall end user experience
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Work closely with development teams to ensure designs are properly tested and implemented
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Motivate organizational design-oriented decisions and standards
• Collaborate with the UX team to solve problems and foster a unified user experience across all products

DESIGN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to style standards while delivering approved UI/UX controls, layouts, fonts, placement, navigation, etc.
• Design and develop mockups, wireframes, sitemaps, and site navigation
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards and process flows
• Design graphical user interface elements, such as menus, tabs, tree controls, buttons, list views, and widgets
• Identify and troubleshoot UI/UX problems emphasizing user feedback
• Effectively work on multiple projects at the same time
