Job Responsibilities
As a Product Verification & Validation (PV&V) Engineer located at Waterloo, IA you will develop and improve HIL (Hardware-in-Loop) tester capabilities to accommodate new engine controllers, software and hardware features, new engine platforms, and test methods. In addition, you will...

• Develop new and improved plant models for system components to simulate the system environment on the HIL tester, and work with the engine performance analysis team to develop engine plant models.
• Support various PC-based software tools that enable software testers to execute test scripts and test projects.
• Develop new test projects and test methods as required

What Skills You Need

• 2 or more years of software development experience (C# & Python, API interface, etc).
• 2 or more years of MATLAB/Simulink modeling experience.
• 1 or more years of working in an embedded controls development environment

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience developing plant models for virtual test environments
• Knowledge of diesel engine operation and physics
• Experience in electronics hardware development and/or troubleshooting
• Experience developing or testing real time embedded controls software
• Familiarity with IT based skills (TCP-IP, FTP, network)
• Experience in working on HIL test systems, i.e. ETAS, National Instruments, dSpace)

Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related Engineering discipline
