Production Artist

We are seeking a skilled Production Artist who is well versed in Print Production to join our expanding team. This candidate would be responsible for manipulating typography and existing creative content needed for precise application of payout information to gaming tickets, flares and seals. Candidate would also be responsible for accurately preparing artwork for Pre-Press/Manufacturing. Candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills, sharp eye for detail, be self-motivated and have solid communication skills

Job Description:

• Prepare artwork from Creative department for Manufacturing, which includes applying payouts accurately, creating various file formats as needed and delivering all necessary files for production
• Close collaboration with Ticket Marketing Managers to optimize and deliver accurate files to Manufacturing successfully each time
• Responsible for building state submittals for game approval
• Be willing to proofread own peers work to ensure accuracy
• Be a team player. Be able to present ideas for review and take direction from Creative Director. Must be open and willing to making revisions and providing feedback.
• Support and collaborate with other team members of various degrees and seniority
• Must be organized in their work and their approach to the job due to high volume. Time management skills a must. Task oriented and goal driven.

Required Experience and Education:

• Education: 2-year associate or a 4-year commercial degree, pre-press, print production or equivalent experience
• 4-6 years of commercial printing experience
• Excellent computer skills on Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite (Predominately in: Illustrator and InDesign) and font management software essential
• Knowledge of in-application scripting is very desirable
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite a must
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, changing deadlines, and balancing multiple projects in a high-paced environment
• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and also work independently, delivering a high quantity of quality artwork
• Must love to learn and be ready to take in a lot of industry specific knowledge and apply it in your day to day work
