Our Ways of Working
We have team members located across the United States and Canada spanning multiple time zones. This means we put in extra effort to make sure we connect and collaborate in ways that make sense for us. We know how valuable the flexibility of remote work is for our employees.Â
We know that personal connection is the foundation for the great work we do together. In order to build those relationships with team members in other cities, we meet with coworkers in person two times a year at a full company offsite and a departmental offsite. These offsites are expected of employees and are great opportunities to meet the people you work with every day and to do some of the work that is much more difficult to do virtually.
What the Role Is

This requires an understanding of the regulatory landscape, a commitment to safety, and the ability to manage multiple products ranging from apparel to hard goods. This role will work with our third party compliance specialist to perform their job effectively. This role will also manage shipping compliance to ensure that all Owned Brands shipments are sent correctly to our warehouse.Â

- Knowledge of supply chain management and vendor compliance
- You have proven success in keeping everyone in the production process on time and are not afraid to set proper expectations
- You thrive in fast-moving environments and ambiguity and will be able to hit the ground running once fully on board
How You Will Make An Impact
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure products meet national and international safety standards (CPSC, CPSIA, ASTM) and handle regulatory filings, certifications, and product labeling
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control procedures, oversee product testing (safety, chemical content, durability), and track product defects
- Supplier & Vendor Management: Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and quality standards, communicate specifications, and manage reorder QC and shipping
- Product Design & Safety Oversight: Conduct risk assessments, collaborate with design teams to ensure safety (age-appropriate, non-toxic, durable products)
- Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain compliance records (certificates, testing reports, audit results) and ensure product traceability for recalls or inquiries
- Customer Safety & Communication: Provide clear, accurate safety information to consumers through product packaging, labels, and online content
- Warranty & Claims Management: Oversee product warranty management and respond effectively to consumer safety or compliance claims
