Job Description

General Summary
The Production Coordinator - Stages works closely with the Production and Stage crews to maintain the schedules of assigned units, wrangle editorial and theater reviews, coordinate assets for shots, address animation requests and communicate progress and delays via daily call-sheets and status reports.

Job Functions

  • Coordinate daily with Stage Production team and assigned unit crew to prioritize tasks to maintain quota/scheduled goals.
  • Ensure all required crew members arrive to stage, theater and editorial reviews on time; communicating absences and backfills where appropriate.
  • Prepare and note-take for stage, theater and editorial reviews, distributing notes thereafter.
  • Coordinate with all relevant departments to ensure assets for assigned shots are prepared for animation and remain on schedule.
  • Track updates and delays and report back to Production leadership to ensure the shooting schedule is adjusted accordingly and remains accurate.
  • Inform crews of any schedule changes that may affect their ability to achieve the schedule (i.e., delays that affect asset availability).
  • Under the supervision of the Senior Coordinator(s) and Production Management, review upcoming schedule with assigned crew to help ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the shooting floor to ensure that crew can continue their work unencumbered.
  • Assist in maintaining continuity with regards to costume, props, and lighting.
  • Foster growth and experiential opportunities for the Production Assistants.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of film experience, or in a TV production department. On-set feature film experience, preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated.
  • Thrive in a deadline driven environment and remain calm under pressure.
