Production Designer (Contract)

Course Hero is scaling, and so is our Creative team!  We are making big investments in our brand, and in particular, how we communicate with our customers. We are looking for a versatile, experienced Production Designer to help elevate and define Course Hero’s brand across all brand and marketing touchpoints.  

We are looking for a Production Designer who will support our designers throughout the creation process of our theme designs as we gear up for our brand refresh to help elevate Course Hero’s brand across all touchpoints of our customer journey.

This position will be reporting to our Director of Brand Design, and requires someone who can commit to working 20 - 40 hours per week. 

Here’s how you will make an impact:

• Deliver production-ready assets for web, email, social, blogs, and other channels
• Create patterns and templates that help scale design quality and efficiency across the creative team
• Source and edit photos following brand photography guidelines
• Make adjustments to existing designs, including updating copy, recoloring or resizing assets
• Design presentations to align with brand guidelines and follow design best practices

Are you our Production Designer?

• 4+ years of relevant experience within brand, visual, or product design 
• Expertise with color, typography, composition, and photography
• Experience with brand identity systems, including examples of how you’ve worked within design guidelines 
• Experience with photo curation – you have an expert eye for curating a photo library and selecting images that are on brand 
• Highly organized, excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail 

Bonus Points:

• Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Asana
• Illustration experience
