Production Machine Operator

SmartTalent is looking to hire a Production Machine Operator for a Large Food Manufacturer in Kent, WA. Ideal candidates will be motivated to work full time and be able to follow strict GMP guidelines. TITLE:Production Machine Operator LOCATION:Kent, WA SCHEDULE: Monday – Thursday, 3pm – 1:30am + OT when needed PAY:$20 an hour + assignment bonus BENEFITS OFFERED:Paid Weekly, Direct Deposit, Affordable Health Care, Full-Time, Opportunities for career growth ABOUT THE JOB: You’ll work on our production line making sure everything runs smoothly, safely, and up to quality standards. You could be packing, labeling, mixing, running machines, or keeping things clean — depending on the area you’re assigned to (like Packaging, Mints, Enrobing, etc.). Expect to be on your feet most of the day and lifting 30 lbs continuously. YOUR MAIN TASKS: • Work safely and follow all company rules • Stick to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) • Loading and unloading of hoppers, mixers, conveyors, etc • Build and prep shipping boxes/trays • Determine by inspection the necessary repairs/maintenance of machines needed • Adjust equipment as needed • Label pouches and boxes • Check that pouches are sealed and filled properly • Pack and stack products into shipping boxes • Load materials into machines or mix batches as needed • Clean and sanitize work areas following checklists • Suggest improvements for cleanliness or efficiency • Store and use cleaning chemicals safely • Help keep the production area neat and organized • Take on other tasks your lead or supervisor assigns WHAT YOU WILL NEED: • Reliable attendance (seriously — we need you to show up) • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion and 30lbs consistently • Must be able to communicate in English. • Able to work in a fast-paced environment • Previous food production experience is a bonus • Must follow ALL proper GMP regulations • Reliable transportation (sorry, no bus access) • A positive, team-first attitude SmartTalent Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. #STHMG #STHMG Telecom Communications Privacy Notice: By submitting for this position you will receive a text message from us and you agree and authorize us to send you text messages; you can reply STOP at any tim e to opt-out of text messaging from us.
