Duties and Responsibilities

- Key product line supervisor, responsible to implement the product line functional plan and budgets
- Responsible for proper manpower allocation, training, bill of labor, and overtime
- Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products
- Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications
- Controls raw materials usage and component part salvage
- Prepares production and operating reports
- Maintains quality system (i.e. tester rejects, QS audits)
- Resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
- Ensures the inspection of machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization
- Enforces conformance to standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards: attendance, work rules, safety and cleanliness
- Resolves worker grievances or submits unsettled grievances to the operational manager for action
- Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data
- Manages learning plans of direct reports
- Initiates rewards and recognition of high performing employees and conducts performance appraisals on direct reports
- Other duties as assigned
