Production Planner

Access Vascular, Inc seeks an operator to add to their quickly growing team to work 1st shift. The right candidate will be responsible for the detailed assembly and production of high quality medical devices within manufacturing. This position includes comprehensive assembly and operation of various equipment and machinery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creates level-loaded production plans based on capacity and forecasted requirements for assigned manufactured products and sub-assemblies.
• Dispatches weekly production schedules that support the execution of supply in the build plan.
• Hosts weekly production meetings to ensure alignment with internal customers including schedule reviews handoff, critical priorities, and known constraints (manpower, material, machine)
• Prepares backorder projections and recovery plans, as necessary to help project recovery for service.
• Participates in the daily production standup meeting; represents planning and the internal customer.
• Tracks weekly metrics such as schedule accomplishment and Build Plan execution; captures reasons for misses in Pareto’s.
• Monitors and analyzes demand trends from the forecast; escalates major changes and communicates internally with operations and the plant leadership team.
• Works closely with procurement team to align on material constraints that pose risk to the build plan.  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 5+ years' experience in a medical device production planning role
• Strong communication and attention to details
• Excel Skills
• Understanding of MRP in ERP systems
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Prior experience in a small company with dynamic scaling operations preferred
• Ability to originate and complete projects with minimal oversight
• Ability to interact successfully with multiple internal stakeholders
