Production Planner

The Advanced Hardware Manufacturing Operations (AHMO) team supports the development of various electronic hardware. We provide rapid prototyping capability and low-volume hardware assembly, facilitating quick design iterations for product development. We are looking for someone enthusiastic, innovative, a self-starter, and willing to take on the challenges of building something never built before!

The Production Planner will work with AHMO's internal customers to ensure all demand is captured and entered into AHMO's ERP system. You will maintain the accuracy of the production orders in the ERP system, including accurate due dates, ensuring the correct BOM revision, and updating customer requests on open work orders. The role will be to attend cross-functional meetings with internal customers, manage unplanned demand, and lead internal AHMO production planning meetings. In addition to maintaining demand, the role will be expected to generate work orders to achieve the fulfillment schedule, assigning work orders to the correct line lead/supervisor to ensure performance to plan.

In this role, you will:

Maintain the accuracy of production orders in Zoox ERP (SAP S4 Hanna) system, including maintaining accurate due dates, ensuring the correct BOM revision, and updating customer requests.

Create and release Work Orders for Production.

Communicate with internal customers about the status of all open demand.

Coordinate with the supply planning teams to ensure the production plan can be achieved by incoming supply and communicate any impacts on demand due to supply shortage.

Troubleshoot work orders in the MES system and coordinate with the AHMO Production leads/supervisors to balance the production schedule

Qualifications

Associate or B.S. degree in a related field (Business, Engineering, Finance, etc.)

5+ years of Direct Production Planning or Master Scheduling experience in a fast-paced NPI environment.

Hand-on experience working in a dedicated manufacturing environment

Experience working with ERP/MRP software applications (SAP S4, Oracle, etc.).

There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $109,000 to $155,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
