Title: Production Planner/Scheduler II

Position Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data)

About the role:We are looking a Production Planner/Scheduler II that will support one of the following programs:

• INCUS: NASA has selected Tendeg to deliver four Ka-band deployable antennas for a new Earth science mission called Investigation of Convective Updrafts (INCUS) that will study the behavior of tropical storms and thunderstorms, including their impacts on weather and climate models. https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/nasa-selects-new-mission- to-study-storms-impacts-on-climate-models.
• SDC: NASA has selected Tendeg to develop a large rectangular aperture deployable antenna for a Surface Deformation and Change mission. Tendeg completed TRL-6 testing of the baseline antenna, which is 7x1.4m and operates at C-band, and is studying a 12x2m configuration at L-band. https://science.nasa.gov/earth-science/decadal-sdc.
• 2-axis Gimbal Antennas: Tendeg has multiple contracts to develop, fabricate, test and deliver flight units for deployable high gain antennas from X-band to Q/V-band. These are for sensor and communication missions for LEO to lunar applications.

What you'll do:

• Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products.
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
• Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production and test demand.
• Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations.
• Schedule shifts according to production needs.
• Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
• Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
• Coordinate and review engineering changes for assigned projects
• Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defects, etc.).
• Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
• Maintain strict adherence to business process and government compliance
• Process Improvement and Training Activities
• Keep paperwork organized
• Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff
• Perform other duties as necessary

Key job requirements:

• 4+ years’ experience as a production planner/scheduler
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or some college preferred, or related field of study and at least 7-10 years of relevant experience
• Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Strong regard for product quality and safety standards
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with manufacturing processes
• Experience with MRP/ERP Systems
• Experience with Inventory Management
