Production Services Specialist
Job Description
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide regional leadership and technical support for Global Data Plant Applications.
- Work closely with business stakeholders within the region to ensure that we are delivering a consistently high quality of service.
- Deliver 2nd and 3rd line support for all Data Plant platforms globally following SRE methodology
- Manage releases of new and existing applications to the production environment. Perform analysis and testing of new and existing applications as required.
- Actively participate in monitoring and building monitoring for the application to enable the wider team to efficiently support this application globally.
- Will be required to look across the entire production environment to aid continuous improvement with the state and supportability of production systems.
- Work closely with Development and infrastructure teams to ensure that issues and defects are reported and actioned and meet business requirements and timelines
- Work closely with other MAPS team members across the AMRS region and globally to ensure consistent service delivery and standardization
- This role requires experience working with and development with KDB+
Required Skills:
- Unix/Linux

- Vertica/Oracle Exadata
- KDB+
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of ITIL Incident and problem management.
- Can work independently. Has experience supporting a front office data application.
- Able to work under pressure, and to tight timescales.
- Deep technical and development knowledge of KDB applications as well as the ability to interpret application knowledge into monitoring requirements.
- Following this through with implementing a stable and scalable monitoring platform in ITRS

Pay and benefits information
New York City pay range:
$70,000 - $110,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
