Production Services Specialist II

Job Description:
This role will be operational support for storage hardware monitoring software and systems. The right candidate will have a solid base of experience and knowledge with and of storage hardware of various types and vendors. This position will be responsible for maintaining system currency, troubleshooting application issues along with occasional involvement in storage operational issues involving owned applications. Occasional weekend on-call rotation will be required.
Required Skills:

• Working knowledge of storage systems and monitoring
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must be able to work well with others as well a independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
• On call support to respond to off-hour and weekend emergencies
• Experience with application support

Desired Skills

• Experience with at least one scripting language (Shell/Python/etc.)
• Solid foundation of change management and ITIL
• Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows servers, IP technologies, Active Directory and backups are a plus

Jersey City pay range:
$70,000 - $120,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
