The Job
Unchained Labs is looking for a full-time Production Technician to join our instruments manufacturing
team in Pleasanton, California. This job requires the ability to work individually and within a team to
deliver our products on time. You will interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics and follow
procedures to assemble and test diverse electro-mechanical modules for our Big Kahuna, Junior and Big
Tuna instruments.

Responsibilities
• Assemble complex scientific instruments from components or sub-assemblies
• Calibrate, align, and test intricate mechanical and electronic systems, and verify that they
  perform to our specifications
• Visually inspect and handle delicate components with a very high attention to detail
• Maintain QC and serial number records
• Be flexible and grind to get it done every quarter so we can meet customer demand
• Maintain an efficient and clean workstation
• Work with engineers to troubleshoot existing problems, identify potential future issues
  before they occur, and give feedback to improve processes
• Adhere to defined procedures and be diligent about quality

Qualifications
• High-school diploma or equivalent, college or vocational training preferred
• Mechanical ability, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret assembly procedures and drawings
• Great English communication skills (written, verbal)
• Excellent attention to detail, good housekeeping, and organization
• Capable of working independently to daily and weekly production schedule
• Fast learner, gritty doer, flexible samurai, dependable workhorse

The US base compensation range for this full-time position is $20 to $38 per hour. This salary range is an
estimate, and the actual base salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. This role
is also eligible for our annual bonus or commission program, and comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs.
